Our 2024 Spring Workshop will be Anything Goes: Youth Edition. The workshop begins on Saturday February 3rd 9am - 1pm. The performances are April 26th and 27th.
Anything Goes is a wacky shipboard farce featuring romance, intrigue, colorful characters and a glorious score from Cole Porter. Highlights include: “You’re The Top,” “It’s De-Lovely,” “Friendship,” “I Get A Kick Out Of You,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” and the title number. The S. S. American is sailing between New York and England with a comically colorful assemblage of passengers: Reno Sweeney, a popular nightclub singer and former evangelist, her pal Billy Crocker, a lovelorn Wall Street broker who has come aboard to try to win the favor of his beloved Hope Harcourt (who is engaged to another passenger, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh), and a second-rate con man named Moonface Martin, aka “Public Enemy #13.” Song, dance, and farcical antics ensue as Reno and Moonface try to help Billy win the love of his life.

The graduating high school seniors in this video share what St. Petersburg City Theatre’s Youth Program did for them. The teens designed, created and edited this video for a high school project and fundraiser. We are very impressed by how their lights shine in all they do and being a part of helping them discover & grow their talent!
